Shkadov Viktor Jakovlevich was born on 21 October 1935 in Naumovo village of the Spas-Demensky district in the Kaluga region. Graduated in 1958 from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics (Moscow State University). Ph.D. in Mathematics and Physics (1974). Professor of the Department of Aeromechanics and Gas Dynamics (1979) at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University.

The field of scientific interests: fluid and gas mechanics.
