Alexandrov Vladimir Vasiljevich was born on 21 August 1941 in Colomna of the Moscow region. Graduated in 1964 from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics (Moscow State University). Ph.D. in Mathematics and Physics (1988). Professor of the Department of Applied Mechanics and Control (1993) at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University. Associate Member of the Academy of Technological Sciences (1992), Member of the International Academy of Astronautics (1995), Member of the International Academy of Sciences for Higher Education (1994). State Prize Laureate (1989).
