The solution to the nonaxisymmetric plane problem in the nonlinear theory of viscoelasticity is examined for a cylinder reinforced by a circular elastic shell and having an internal cut of the "maltese cross" type. The authentication of the nonlinear endochronous theory of aging viscoelastic materials is conducted by the genetic algorithm method on the basis of nonmonotonic experimental dependence of stresses on strains. Some numerical results for the stress-strain state of this cylinder under the action of internal pressure are given with consideration of the above physical nonlinearity and the finite logarithmic deformations.
